Madam chair has problems!   

Coming after resounding back-to-back defeats where the democratic board members have shut down many of her recent requests, Corrine has asked the taxpayers of Kane County to give her a 30% pay raise.   But those are the least of her problems.

Fighting within her own party pales in contrast to her ties to Biden, Brandon Johnson and herself proclaimed tight relationship with J.B Pritzker.  As Corinne seeks to get elected again taxpayers are questioning who Corinne’s allegiance belongs to.   One would argue that the Democratic and Republican board members differ only in how they serve their constituents.   But Corinne has greater issues beyond her allegiance to placing the wishes of top political figures over the needs of the citizens of Kane County.

The public has to wonder why Corinne has accepted campaign funds from A & D LLC.  A&D LLC is owned by Anthony and Dominic Buttitta Trust per the Illinois Business Entity Search.   

Per charges filed by the FBI, Dominic and Anthony Buttitta are owners of Blackjack’s Strip Club in Elgin.   Both were charged by the FBI for failure to report over $4,000,000 of income (https://archives.fbi.gov/archives/chicago/press-releases/2012/operators-of-elgin-adult-entertainment-club-and-alleged-internet-gambling-business-charged-with-concealing-more-than-4-million-of-income-from-the-irs).   As a result of the lawsuit filed by the Department of Justice (DOJ – https://www.justice.gov/archive/usao/iln/chicago/2012/pr0202_01a.pdf), it appears that Anthony was sentenced to more than two years of prison time as well per the Patch (https://patch.com/illinois/geneva/st-charles-man-dad-going-to-federal-prison-for-illega38b7cf0d90)   

The Buttittas have a right to make money legally.  The issue isn’t with the father and son owners.  The issue is with Madam Corinne Pierog who has shown a complete inability to make decisions in the best interests of the citizens in Kane County.  It’s a bad look for Corinne.   

In the last 9 months, according to Illinois Sunshine .org, Corinne has accepted multiple donations from A & D LLC towards her re-election campaign.  It appears that her receipt of these funds are questionable as best.  Corinne needs to be asked the following questions;

1)  Is it ok to accept more than $1,000 dollars from men who make money from having women strip for men;

2)  Is she is aware of the fact that she has accepted money from men with felony charges?

3)  If she is not aware, then who is advising Corinne?

4)  If Corinne returns the money, what is the conversation that she has with each Buttitta?  

5)  Does she keep the money and upset the left by taking money from men who make money made from the bodies of women?

Corinne has a lot of explaining to do.  The democrats are right to question her motives.  It’s apparent that either Corinne is unaware as to what’s really going on, much like Joe Biden, or she doesn’t care so long as she gets the money that she wants.

Both parties are right in their distrust of Corinne.  Nothing is as it appears.  One thing is for certain.  The democrats and republican board members care more about the county than Madam Corinne does.

There is a lot of gametime remaining.  It’s just the start of the second quarter.  But while other candidates are running their own races, Madam Corinne is hoping that Biden, Brandon Johnson or JB will hop on the field to run her race for her.

There are more questionable accusations regarding Madam Corinne that will surface as the investigations move forward.  One thing is for certain.  Madam chair is like reality television.  Rarely is the reality what you see.  Most of the time it’s what the producers want you to see.  

Will Madam give the Buttitta’s their money back?  Will she make a public statement regretting her decision to take Buttitta’s money?   Or, as many expect, will she disown the young women in Kane County who desperately need a great role model.  

Sometimes there’s not enough popcorn.  Madam what are you going to do for the young women who are tired of men objectifying them?  What will you do with the money you took?
