KANE COUNTY CONSOLIDATED ELECTION VOTING PROCESS
Kane County, Illinois, is preparing for a Consolidated Election on Tuesday, April 1, 2025.
Contests on the Ballot:
Voters can cast their Ballot early using several options:
1. Vote By Mail (VBM):
- Application Process: Voters can apply for a Vote by Mail ballot through the Kane County Clerk’s website. Apply as early as possible, but no later than 5 days before the election, to ensure timely receipt and return of the Ballot.
- Ballot Mailing: Kane County will mail out ballots on March 7, 2025.
- Submission Deadline: If using the USPS, completed ballots must be postmarked by April 1, 2025, and received by the Clerk’s office within 14 days after Election Day to be counted. You can also use the Drop Box at the Kane County Clerk’s office or BRING IT WITH YOU if you decide to vote in person.
2. Early Voting:
- Start Date: Early voting begins on March 7, 2025.

3. Locating Your Sample Ballot, Polling Places, and tracking your Ballot after you vote:
- Voters in Kane County can cast their ballots at any precinct polling place in Kane County on election day. There are no longer assigned polling places. All information can be found on the Clerk’s website.
